An amazing day of making new vegans at our Mother’s Day Outreach in Aberdeen!!
Many people committed to going vegan today as they made the connection between their food choices and overwhelming suffering. As one new convert was overheard telling his friends, “if something’s alive, it should stay alive; that piglet could have been my dog getting hammered, I wanted to take it home!”. Huge thanks to the 12 committed activists, including two new volunteers – one of whom flew up from London just to help at our event! – who braved the cold to give their hearts, time, and energy to the animals. You are the best!! The public were wowed by amazingly delicious cakes provided by BiocafeAberdeen
. Mother’s Day flowers were laid at Portlethen slaughterhouse at the conclusion of our event
; a somber reminder of why we do what we do.
