What a glorious day opening the eyes and hearts of the people of Aberdeen at our #NARD14 celebration. A beautiful opening ceremony was followed by the 3-Minute-Movie Challenge in which several people committed to going vegan. One 74 y.o. lady was moved to tears (“I didn’t know”) and has begun her vegan journey.
A grandmother thanked us for letting her two young granddaughters watch and all went off to Aldi afterwards to explore the plant-based section! A huge effort from all of our volunteers especially MC Mahalakshmi who did most of the organising! We rocked it!
