The popularity of the first cruelty-free market in June was built upon with a boosted attendance at Saturday’s autumn market, and we proudly staffed our distinctive Vegan Outreach Scotland stand including 3-minute movie challenge, understanding that our vegan message was, and is, at the heart of all things cruelty-free.
As always at such events we’re greatly encouraged to meet new, enthusiastic vegans with a passion of sharing the message of compassion and non-abuse, and this event was no different.
We ended the short but busy day having linked up with potential new volunteers for VOS from across the Highlands. As you might expect, many of the people at the market either knew of veganism or already were vegan, but we still engaged ardent non-vegans in conversation, offering WTF’s movie challenge which, while declined, nevertheless forced people to confront their own avoidance.
