About this Event
“Our ancestors believed that angry gods produced catastrophic climatic events: storms, torrential rains, freezing cold, stifling heat, and so on. Baroque theatre and opera portray this dramatic weather. The concert features a selection of passionate airs and tempestuous music by great 17th and 18th century composers.”
