VegFestFife was on today in the Old Kirk in Kirkcaldy and VOS promoted veganism and animal rights.
Shiva, one of the volunteers, participated – brilliantly! – in a panel discussion on food sustainability.
Several people signed up to volunteer or know more about VOS and we had interesting conversations with vegetarians wanting to go vegan or doing Veganuary. Also some long-term vegans (a lady told us she has been vegan since 1973) were happy to know an organisation such as VOS exists!
The turn out at the festival was good, with vendors selling out fast.
