Saturday 14th December bode well for Vegan Outreach Scotland – Highland and Moray to pitch our stall, along with 3 Minute Movie challenge, on Inverness High Street and engage with a flood of Christmas shoppers.
Although ‘the city in the Highlands’ was surprisingly subdued for the time of year we secured a few very positive outreach sessions with compassionate people who’d already begun their vegan journey and were unclear as to where to go next. A grateful ‘Thank you for being here’ was welcomely received from all.
While the crowds were thin and numbers low, keep in mind that for every one person that stops consuming animals’ flesh, secretions and ovulations (yep, tell it like it is!) hundreds of souls are saved from a lifetime of misery and a terrifying death.
VOS Highland and Moray would like to say a huge thank you to the volunteers who gave up their Saturday to fight the suffering, and for carrying heavy loads back and forth to the car! Thanks to all who’ve supported us through 2024 and we wish you a peaceful vegan solstice and Christmas
